Apple has finally announced an official release date for the Chinese iPhone.

Come October 2009, China will finally see the iPhone and with a steep price tag of 5,000 CNY, or $732.

In other news, Apple has just made a formal deal with two British cellular carriers that will soon be selling the iPhone 3GS.  Wow, talk about a busy Apple these days!
