Variety has recently reported that the newest Clint Eastwood film formerly known as The Human Factor will be released December 11, 2009.

The movie, staring Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman and is Eastwood’s latest directorial contribution.  Based on John Carlin’s book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation, the movie will see rugby player Damon and Mandela Freeman try to heal a torn nation through rugby.

Ahh, it just brings tears to our little eyes.  The upcoming film will see a December 2009 release with the new title Invictus.
