Spidey 4 finally has an official movie release date, so you can start celebrating.
Columbia Pictures has sent out a press release revealing Spider-Man 4’s release date to be May 5, 2011 both in IMAX and conventional theater venues.
Sam Riami will again sit the director’s chair with Tobey Maguire reprising his role once again.

Spider-Man director Sam Raimi has some news for us Spidey fans.
On a call with Sci Fi Wire Monday, Raimi revealed that the new Spider-Man 4 script should be ready by this summer, saying, ”Right now, David Lindsay-Abaire is working on a draft of the new picture. And he’s hard at work, and hopefully we’ll see something in about three months.”
