We know you already had it on your calendars with bright, excited colors, but it looks like Miley Cyrus’ The Last Song movie release date has been delayed.

According to MTV the Julie Ann Robinson-directed film will not be coming to theaters January 2010, but instead we are now looking at an April 2010 release date.

A rep for Cyrus confirmed the news, saying, “The date is now April 2. We found a better release date than January for it. It will open Easter weekend/spring break.”
