Verizon Wireless’ Motorola Droid’s release date has come and gone without much to-do.

On Friday the new Droid was released and after visiting a Verizon store we didn’t feel like Motorola was very serious about the handset release by just offering one phone for potential costumers to use.  Not at all the Apple iPhone theory on releases, is it?
