Speculation has been forming if there will be a Hobbit video game upon the movie release date in 2012 but director of the film, Guillermo del Toro, says he’s way too busy to even think about a game.

“It’s too ambitious to try and tackle that along with The Hobbit,” del Toro stated.

“We have such tight release dates.”

The del Toro team would eventually be involved in the development of a Hobbit game, but would come after the release of the film, sadly.  But maybe this means we’ll actually get a good movie game this time.
