The Palm Pre is rumored to being released in the near future and several dates have been guessed at, specially after talk of such as AT&T hoarding ammo for the Apple iPhone versus the Palm Pre.

Various other phones similar to the Palm Pre have a release date of May 17 and with Sprint putting a stop to employee vacations until the end of May, it’s got us thinking this might just be the release date.
