Well, it’s offical, the new PlayStation 3 Slim has a release date.

Expect the newest PS3 console to be out in the U.S. and Europe on September 1 and in Japan, just two days later.

The PS3 Slim will feature BRAVIA Sync via HDMI, 2 USB ports, 120GB HDD SATA and will be 36% lighter but also 34% less powerful, with a price tag of $300.
