Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn finally has a movie release date we can share.  

Mark December 23, 2011 on your calendars, though you might have to skip forward a few pages, for the unveiling of the highly-anticipated TinTin film.

Sony and Paramount plan to release the pic in Europe first due to its heritage as well as TinTin’s fanbase, but there is no word as of yet on that release date, but more than likely we’re thinking sometime in November. 

Variety reports that the film will be in 3-D, so that’s even something else to get all excited about.
