Finally Microsoft has clued us all in on when Windows 7 will be available.

Write down October 22 in red on you release date calendar!  The official date comes from a CNET interview with a senior Microsoft VP, so it’s a date you can rely on, so go ahead and use that marker and not the pencil on this one.
